Modern warfare
Belfast, childhood memories tore down Replaced with air BnBs. City centre, car
parks and office blocks as far as the eye can see. No more 5 lighters for a £1
and teley. Replaced with shooting up in full view And homeless litter the ground
for all to see. The bargain stores put the prices up, No bargains here, Just
heart break and misery. Wiped out to block out The under funded mental health
team. A&E under pressure, She cut her wrists, They say go home, someone will
call in 48 to 24 hours That isn't good enough, We can all agree. They say the
drugs have secret ingredient To make them more addictive. That secret ingredient
Is misery, heart break and no end To be seen. politicians blame them'ums, And we
can't see, We are them'ums. We are the lost, Forget colours, Forget tribes.
Forget football teams.
